| Abstract: |
| Mr. Li Congfu metaphorically illustrated the pursuit of transcendence in spiritual realm with the image
of “a sparrow soaring to the tall sycamore to become a colorful phoenix” and demonstrated resilient dedication in professional
practice through the imagery of “the ox dragging the plow across the vast fields”. Furthermore, his exhortation
regarding the “Three Combinations of Inheritance and Development” established a methodological system. Together,
these three elements constitute a complete paradigm of “ideal personality”, i.e., establishing ideal pursuits with the
“aspiration of the phoenix”, practicing professional faith with the “dedication of the ox”, and nurturing humanistic
spirit with the philosophy of “Three Combinations”, finally unified in the ultimate value of “benefiting the world”. This article systematically elaborates on the internal logic and contemporary connotation of this personality paradigm, in order to provide solid spiritual support and value guidance for upholding the true essence of traditional Chinese medicine amidst the
wave of modernization and promoting its creative transformation and innovative development. |
